I like the chardonnay, but I don’t love it, and I’ve found it getting rather hot for my tastes in some recent vintages (alcohol getting into the high 14s, I think). But it’s well loved by many Dehlinger customers with excellent taste, so I’m probably in the minority. And I’d guess the 2011 won’t be too high in alcohols.

Where was the chard last priced? I dropped off years ago, but signed up again based on my previous experience as this being a great QPR. Sounds like that might not be the case anymore? I always found the Chard (wente or see clone?) to be one of the best in Ca, on par with Aubert and Morlet at a fraction of the price. Love the Syrah and Cabernet too - but if these are in the 50-60 range now, they’re not the value I’m looking for.

IIRC the Chard is now 40 discounted to 36.

The Cab and Claret are still deals and offer a unique style. There is not any 2011 Cab, it was all bottled as Claret.

I would agree with Glenn here, been on the list for 3 years or so and I don’t recall many price jumps, but can’t say that across the board. The pickup weekends show you how small the winery is and how involved the family is. I’m in for whatever I can afford this summer.
