Chicago Restaurant help

Seconding Mel’s suggestions - I’d add Intro (http://introchicago.com/). I had a wonderful meal there with their first chef, C J Jacobsen. Between now and May 9th, they will have a menu created by several James Beard Rising Stars (in honor of the awards being in Chicago) and then Eric Anderson (formerly of Catbird in Nashville) will take over for several months.

Thanks Mel and Siun!

I will highly recommend Parachute - interesting, well done dishes, very good service. Casual setting- and a bit loud. We really enjoyed our meal.

Had dinner last week at Formento’s for the Bedrock dinner and thought it was very good

42 grams

My daughter is a chef as is her fiance (he was sous at North Pond, she was at Embeya before things changed, she’s now at Boho House and loving what they are doing btw) They went to 42 Grams and raved about how amazing the meal was - big raves so I take it it’s really good.

My new favorite is The Promontory. Hearth cooking. Everything very well executed with the type of menu I want to order it all.

A little birdy told me that more of this style is coming to Chicago.

I would suggest the Omakase menu at Juno. Absolutely amazing meal.
