Traveling to Napa, then northward towards Mendocino and Crescent City this fall. Looking for some awesome Bed and Breakfast accommodations. Probably stay 2-3 nights in and around Napa up to Calistoga.
I will research Crescent City for you, it’s an hour S of our home.

We like Maison Fleurie in Yountville. Easy walking to plenty of restaurants, shopping, some wine tasting salons.
Like a million! You will take Hwy 128 from Calistoga into Geyserville to get to Hwy 101, the road north towards the coast. Drive a bit S to Healdsburg and there are great wineries. W into Sonoma Co. is RRV and Dry Creek. Drink up but hand the keys to somebody else. Going N up the 101 towards 128 W to Mendocino is Anderson Valley, just amazing wineries to visit. Once you’re done in Mendo it’s Hwy 20 back to 101 to the ocean and there are still a few gems. No wineries once on the coast, great beer though.

Glenn, What is it going to be like driving 101 from Healdsburg to Eureka? Google Maps says 3.5 hours. Is that realistic?
Yes, depending on the day. Weekend might see more traffic with people going to Redwoods.
