Colorado Wine Shops

Folks:

My son is heading to Steamboat for a weekend. They are landing in Denver and heading via car to a condo timeshare in Steamboat! So he asked me to get a recommendation for a viable place to grab some wine for the weekend for a fairly large group. Better to stop in Denver or on the way? Or to grab wine somewhere at the Streamboat resort community! Never been there… not a skier! I know that someone in this universe will have an easy answer!

Applejacks, right off I-70, just before Golden. Right on the way.

Also off I-70 on the way. Much, much smaller than Applejacks, but fun to browse.

+1 on both recommended shops Mondo Vino is also in a nice neighborhood for lunch but Applejacks is right off the highway.
