We are heading down to the Florida keys next week (Marathon/Islamarada). I am familiar with a few good tiki bars and a couple decent restaurants, but it has been a few years since I have been down there. Are there any places with a half decent wine list? Actually, I am just looking for a place with a couple of Italian or French wines. Not an extensive list. I remember all the restaurants having the cheap, mass produced, mainstream CA wines.
We haven’t found any.
We take our own wine or stick to tropical drinks and beer.
Having been raised in the Florida Keys, i can confidently suggest you bring your own wine
Unless you take a trip or plan on staying at Little Palm Island
It is crazy how bad the wine selection is down there. If you like CA wines, you have many more choices, but still…
