Looking for recommendations for a weekend in Napa in Mid May with my wife. Trying to keep the price within reason, which for us is probably $550/night. Any suggestions?
You’ll get lots of opinions, but we like Yountville. Great, walkable food options, laid back, but not too far from everything.

We love St Helena, but this inn has a 3 night minimum. A stretch for this quick trip we have planned.
Hillview Inn, half way between Napa and Yountville, just west of Hwy 29. Back road travel to both Napa and Yountville. Technically 200 feet into the sticks with easy access North and South.
Or, go to gateway Napa for other hotel/motel and B&B links.
AND FYI, BOTTLEROCK IS AT THE END OF MAY AND EVERYBODY IS SHOPPING FOR ROOMS. YOU NEED TO MAKE IT SOON OR DO THE RUSSIAN RIVER IN SONOMA OR SANTA LUCIA HIGHLANDS.
