Walkable napa for elderly parents

My parents are looking to spend a couple of nights in wine country next month. They don’t drive and walk slowly with the aid of canes, so the ideal location would be a hotel with a variety of shops, tasting rooms, galleries etc right outside the door. They are not wine people, so the experience more important than quality of tasting rooms.

St. Helena- The Wydown Hotel. (They’d have to walk about 1/4 block)

Or
Hotel St. Helena (I don’t know how nice this place is or if there are stairs, but it is right in the middle of the main drag in St. Helena

Yountville has a number of options-
Vintage Inn might be the most central, but check on stairs.

Napa-
The Andaz Napa is about the only option for something like that

Sounds like a couple of workable options. Thanks so much.

If your parents will use Uber or Lyft, 6 blocks to the East of the Andaz is the Oxbow Market. The Market has some wine tasting, Fatted Calf Meats, a cup cake factory, cheese factory, oyster bar, Gott’s Roadside Grill and other foodstuffs. Across the street are tasting rooms for Randy Mason, Mark Herold and Bruce Anfeldt, plus Filippi’s Pizza Grotto and Italian food.

Across the street from Andaz is Wines on First which pours Jean Edwards Cellars and a couple others.

The Westin is a bit long walk, but believe they have a ride service into town.

Thanks for the mention Randy!

Dave - our tasting room is right across from the Andaz Hotel. There are several tasting rooms and a number of very good restaurants - from casual to more upscale - within a block or so.

As Chris mentioned, the Westin is a great property and they do provide local shuttle service into town.

Please feel free to DM me if you need additional info - happy to help!

Thanks so much to you all. Really good advice.

I’d suggest yountville. More pleasant walking than napa or st. helena. Also more touristy, but really nice. Villagio or vintage inn would be best. Lots of flat walking, and a lot of benches to rest at.
