With the substantial increase in the cost of Emirates redemptions, my Alaska miles are of less value to me.
If I am looking for United miles, does anybody have an acceptable ratio for a trade?

I’d still say they’re a wash. I like Alaska because they allow a stopover on a 1 way award ticket.
FWIW, “The Points Guy” currently values AS miles at 1.8 cents/mile & UA miles at 1.5 cents/mile.
Alaska is pretty cheap for Bay Area to Europe- 65k miles to Paris if I recall when I checked last. Harder to get that via direct travel unless you’re doing West to East coast, but I doubled down and back-stopped it with an Alaska Air card when I was MVP Gold.
shoot you still got cathay pacific redemption though. 140k for first class with a stop over.
And Cathay first class is tough to beat.
