I’m planning a visit to Berlin. We’ll fly over on Lufthansa from DC, connecting through Frankfurt, again on Lufthansa, with a 2 hour and 45 minute layover. Will we have to go through customs in Frankfurt, or will that happen in Berlin? Thanks!
Frankfurt. It’s a huge airport but that time should be ok.
There are flights to Berlin every hour more or less.

I’ve done the same transfer twice in under an hour - assuming same terminals you will be ok. I have an EU passport (for now at least) if you come in mid afternoon behind a Korean 380 you might have a bit of a line for immigration but I suspect you will be fine.
