SLO/Pismo/Paso

Going to stay in Pismo tomorrow on our way down to SoCal. Will be heading out of Santa Cruz down 101 and will have time to stop at a winery and wanted to see if any recommendations? Will have our 8 year old son with, so will need to be kid friendly and not sure what is open mid-week. Know the wines of L’Aventure, Tablas Creek, Turley, and a few others and no nothing of stuff closer to SLO in the Edna Valley.

Also, any recommendations for food in Pismo? Have had some recommendations for Giuseppe’s for good Italian. And everyone keeps saying we need to get Clam Chowder at Splash and Cinnamon rolls at ??? (can’t remember the name right now). Any other recs, or the name of the place to get the cinnamon rolls?

Thanks. [cheers.gif]

Eat here > Jocko’s 125 N Thompson Ave, Nipomo, CA 93444 805-929-3565.

NY like steaks at half the cost. Make a reservation or arrive early.

Pretty good cinnamon rolls.

I went to Splash cause people were recommending it. Very very average. I don’t know why it’s so popular. Line out the door.
