Just returned from a short vacation with 3 days on the road ending in Edinburgh and then by train to London for a few more. Dinners at Inverlochy Castle in Fort William (very good-wife and I stayed here 38 years ago and wanted to return), Kitchin in Edinburgh (fabulous), and Ledbury in London (excellent), but what I enjoyed most was J. Sheekey. Thanks for the recommendations. Had the plateau des fruits des mer. Huge portion, beautiful variety, fresh as fresh can be and delicious. Sheer perfection! The razor clams next time. Was there 5 niights ago and still can’t stop thinking about it.
