wine in Orlando area

I’ll be in Orlando (& the general area) for about a week. I know Total Wine is there but does anyone else have recommendations for “must go” shops.
I’m looking at a few wine bar/bistros as well.

The Wine Room in Winter Park (http://www.thewineroomonline.com/) has over 100 wines in tasting machines and many more available by the bottle.

90 minutes to Bern’s in Tampa.

Orlando is close to Tampa… and we know what’s in Tampa…

This is a great recommendation for a wine bar. Very cool concept, great vibe, awesome charcuterie. I’m not super-thrilled with their wine selections - more new world and modern old world than classic - but it’s fun nonetheless. The wine storage room inside this bar has some fantastic wine for sale by the bottle, many aged, but quite expensive. Worth checking out, though, as occasionally I find a bargain. Afterwards, hit Luma for dinner, it’s right next door.

In terms of wine buying, I’m not thrilled with this town for retail, either. Total Wines and ABC are decent for the predictable stuff. Tim’s may be worth checking out, he carries some inexpensive and obscure stuff and is a knowledgable guy.

Perfect weather here right now, if anything just a bit warm, hitting 86 today.
