Staying for a few days in Streeterville area. Any suggestions for interesting ice cream, wine shops, lunch food, etc walking distance besides Eataly?
Ever had a Chicago deep dish pie?
Kind of a must if not.
I like Xoco or Purple Pig for lunch. Try to get there ahead of or after peak lunch times.
Due’s is good for deep dish.
For ice cream, there are mainly chains in that neighborhood. Worth making the trip to Black Dog Gelato.
For Wine, Binny’s or Hart Davis Hart.
I like Lou Malnati’s best. Pizza Uno or Duo are good. I avoid Diordano’s. Not a big fan of Gino’s either.
