Since I most always order the rack of lamb for the entree most reds will satisfy.
Fish, duck, lamb, steak… How about we just bring some food-friendly whites and reds (and maybe something sparking or sticky) and wing it?

Nice! If you can go either way, I’d love to try the '88 as I haven’t had that vintage. I definitely won’t be disappointed with the '89 if that’s what we have. A recent bottle was still quite youthful, but very nice.

I’ll bring a 2007 Didier Dagueneau Pur Sang. We’re waiting to see if Becky can join us, in which case we’ll also bring another white. We should know in the next couple of days.
Unfortunately, Becky can’t make it.
I am bringing a 1990 Ridge Mataro Evangelo Vineyard, and perhaps a Riesling as well.
