Seriously if it's ten I'm out and I'm happy. If it's 14 I'm happy, let me know if you need me to fill the table with Truffle Lady or my friend John or both. Both love wine. I've found that with 14, everyone gets a good pour of some of the wines but not all and that can be OK. And Larry's wine sits in front of Larry all night and everyone is happy.

Sorry for the late reply. Been offline snowboarding in Utah for a few weeks, but I'm back.

Is it a sin to bring a chard?

I've got some 02 Michael Michaud Chard that I think darn good. assuming its not premox.

07 Burrell School Estate Pinot Noir is another choice.

I've only been collecting for a few years now so my selection of rare and aged wines is pretty slim but am busy stashing wine for the future. I will not bring Caymus or Daou.

Yup, still bringing '98 Caillou CdP Reserve.

I was a member in a Sunday lunch group that met at Donato for about 5 years. That group was organized by Richard Jennings. The wine themes were more focused, unlike this motley crew.

Sandi and I went there last night for Happy Hour. Juan, who is the house manager or equivalent, was there. Juan will be there on Monday. Super great guy and he does have formal wine certification (WSET?). It would be great to share with him, like we do with the Yuzu owner.
