We got married on october 5th 2013 and I would like to get some top Californian wines from this year for anniversaries as California was probably the most successfull region in 2013. I would prefer to exchange these against some of my cellar treasures. I have quite some French wines, mainly Burgundy (Ponsot, Coche Dury, Ramonet, …) , some Bordeaux and some Barolo as well to exchange. The difficulty of this all is that I am in Belgium, EU and sending wine over the ocean is not cheap so if you happen to be in Europe from time to time, visiting France or so, we could arrange certainly something.
Now for the wines, I am open to suggestions, but from the Californian wines I had I particularly liked the Bond crus(ok Harlan too but that is very expensive), Shafer HSS, Colgin IXproprietary red, Blankiet Paradise hills vineyard, Abreu (only had Madrone ranch) and outpost true vineyard so these would be my first options (even tough maybe some of these are not on the market yet?).
I know this will not be an easy one but let’s see what works!
