2007 was our first vintage at Biggio Hamina Cellars and I was very gung ho on whole cluster fermentation (still am). The offer is for three bottles each of Deux Vert vineyard and Momtazi vineyard. The release price was $36 per bottle, and that’s the Library offer today.
The DV was fermented with 70% wc and the Momtazi was fermented with 90%. I still think the Momtazi wants more time, but I opened a few at harvest and really liked where it was at. They both garned low 90’s from the WA, much like anything else I make, but if you’ve had our wines then you would know that the fence I’m swinging for is made a beautiful flowers.
