This Cabernet is a beautiful expression of its predominantly old vine “roots” (Sagemoor is one of the oldest WA State vineyards - planted in 1972). A bit austere when it is first opened and less fruit forward than its 2007 predecessor, BUT, with some air it really shines.

The 2012 Wild Eyed exemplifies the vintage’s remarkable balance and texture. Pretty floral tones of violet and lavender mingle with bramble and hints of Red Mountain’s earthy spice.
