From the private collection of an old lady, all stored in her cellar. Now,
None of these are in perfect condition. The DRC has 1 or 2cm extra ullage. No signs of seepage whatsoever and the color looks pretty damn good. Label is scuffed up.
The 1942 Lafite is green wartime glass. Capsule looks great, fill looks great, label is scuffed.
The 1942 yquem is also wartime glass. Capsult is good shape and clearly has the vintage marked. The label is a plain Rothschild family label and “Yquem 1942” is written by hand. Pictures of all available on request- PM me your email address and I will send pics off.
Mostly looking for high end bourbons and California wines, as I’m thinning down my French bottles but would take new-ish Bordeaux in trade.
