I was notified from another WB member that the 2009 was recalled for bottle variation. I am pulling that bottle out as I have contacted Rhys.

It is listed as recalled on their online vintage chart, and Kevin has mentioned it on WB. They will refund or credit you.

Opened a 500ml of the family farm this past weekend. “Lighter” stylistically than the alpine, but really nice juice

Must be bottle variation. Brett? I had a bottle last Fall that, while surprisingly mature, was fantastic.

Yes, that’s right. People have reported good and bad bottles and of course with Brett there can be personal taste/sensitivity involved.

Rhys took the 6 bottles of 2009 I had and will replace with the 2013 FF. Delivery is tomorrow. Might be the best customer service as I received a reply within an hour and shipment info 20 minutes later.
