In cleaning out my basement I came across and old Wine-Stat temperature regulator with the bottle probe. I stopped using it when I received my Eurocaves. It’s pretty simple in that you plug your refrigerator into the Wine-Stat controller and you set the regulated temperature you want and the sensor lets the controller know to turn on the refrigerator to cool or stay off when temp is met. I checked the unit this morning and it sets the temperature regulation mark but appears to have a sensor problem by pegging the higher end while in a cup of ice water. My guess is that this is a straightforward fix for someone with electronic troubleshooting skills. I will send this unit to someone for the cost of the shipping which you would donate to Winebeserkers. I can’t imagine the shipping to be more than $5-10.
