We have been in Paris a couple of days after our China trip.
Had an absolutely incredible meal at Fish - a Boissonerie. The daughter is now running it and the chef is from England but
he must have been with Gordon Ramsey. This is some of the best bistro food in Paris to me. Absolutely stunning prep of Skate Wing (Raie) which is in season.
We had an ok lunch at La Coguille. Not sure if we just didn’t order well or if our Dominican Republic waiter was the problem.
Everything was fresh however. A fantastic bottle of 2008 Raveneau Valmur for 120 euro too!

Great markets today. Everything was very fresh.
I bought some tomatoes from a bio farmer (Demeter).
Also some bread from one of my favorite Boulangeries The Boulangerie on Place Monge.
The fraises were also perfect! Yvon Metras 2012 Fleurie. Some CO2 that needs decanting.
This is fresh and has tremendous red fruit. I am shocked to tell you the truth. This is a very ripe vintage.
Very nice wine.
