Kid-friendly good place in San Francisco?

I’ll be in San Francisco for a couple of days early June. Together with my wife and 4 kids (2,4,7,9). Reasonably well behaved, but need some exitement / inspiration. Is there a place that we should visit for lunch / dinner?

Waterbar restaurant has views of the Bay and giant aquarium columns full of exotic tropical fish. Good food and cocktails, also.

Una Pizza Nepolitana?

The Rainforest Cafe. [snort.gif]

Thanks! I’ll check them out. Although Linda’s comment has me somewhat worried…

It’s awesome if you like to pair crappy American food with animatronic animals. I’m sure the kids would love it, though. [basic-smile.gif]

I live in Shanghai, we get too much animatronics here anyway. I was more looking for decent food and a somewhat kids-friendly place. Probably The French Laundary would not welcome us…

Take the cable car up to Nob Hill to visit the Grace Cathedral, and then stroll through the Fairmont’s impressive lobby before heading down to the basement for a full on Tiki experience (complete with thunderstorms) at the Tonga Room.
