Guys I was a little skeptical of this form of “Cream of Wheat”.
I was until today.
I had it made the way a Cantonese chef suggested that she would have at home with one exception. I added some slivers of fresh cod.
Absolutely incredible breakfast. Savory. Satisfying. Fresh and vibrant flavors that just permeate the congee.
I can easily see where this would be Cantonese comfort food.
