Long story, I bought some frozen langostino tails and they’ve obviously been soaked in that brine/solution stuff for freshness and they are like sponges I can’t remove the water from them. I’ve never seen anything throw off this much water.
Any advice?

I know of no way to get STPP out of your fish beyond heating, but that kinda defeats the porpoise.
I tend to rebrine shrimp in a salt and sugar bath; then if I have time, it gets the paper towel treatment until I get a dry surface.
Make stock.
