We come down every couple of years at the beginning of the new year. Dining has never been a highlight (how much shrimp and lobster can one eat). This trip found two worth mentioning. Manta is a new find in the Thompson hotel. Spectacular views. Great service (thanks Alberto) and imaginative and tasty food. Wine program is strong and they welcome your personal wines. New favorite. Next door is Sunset Da Monalisa. Best view in all of Cabo. Right on the Clift looking across the bay. Service again spot on (shout out to Ernesto and Lauro). The pasta with black truffles was Devine. Wine selections were good and if you want champs they have you covered. They welcomed our personal wines. All in all a very good and romantic spot. Book for sunset. You will not be dissapointed.
