Champagne and Burgundy (white and red) would probably work best. I also took a dry Brundlmayer Riesling that worked well with a couple dishes. Bigger wines would not fare well.
Honestly, it’s hard to pair because the menu has so much going on, so I would bring any food-friendly wines that you enjoy.
Bring the kitchen a nice bottle of bourbon. That will help grease the skids
I never got this… I brought them a great bottle of booze. Did the same at Schwa. Not quite sure what it got me if anything.

I had a great meal there echoing similar choices on wine, although mine was all USA
The food there is fantastic. Have fun, and enjoy licking your plate…literally!
I bring bottles to restaurants a lot. Especially off-lines. Usually it’s some $20-25 retail stuff I find at auction, or somewhere for a steal. Sometimes one can tell that it does grease the wheels, sometimes it’s hard to tell. In the long-run it seems like a nice thing to do, and probably pays off in a self-serving way.
