Can someone tell me the difference between the CA reserve and the Midwest? I think I have only had the Midwest. I really like the NY strips- always go for the 24 OZ- plenty for 2 with a little leftover!
per a conversation I once had with the master himself…the Midwestern reserve with have a heavier grade of marbling (literally thicker) and the come from yor traditional angus breeds. The CA reserve will have a much finer marbling and they come from your classic California milk cows.
For me, the CAreserve just has a texture that can’t be beat but the overall flavor on both is great.
topped up my supply and got a couple things I’ve never had before (not on sale). The Filet tails and the Kobe sliders. Can’t wait to try them.
