a bit east–W Hollywood–Sweet Lady Jane, best pie ever, especially blueberry. There is also a Santa Monica location, never tried it, but suspect it will be the same.
Groundwork does a nice job roasting. Multiples locations within you criteria.
Caffe Luxxe on Montana is pretty groovy for coffee. For pastries, can’t beat Huckleberry on Wilshire.
For Mexican style pastries (yummy!) La Monarcha at Wilshire & Euclid.
