I saw this earlier today. Pretty neat. But, I do wonder about using the burner in question when not using the Meld. Can I? Do I have to take it off to be able to see high, medium, or low? Seems like a great solution if you have 6+ burners, for someone with 4, a lot of work to take on and off.

I think a gas burner would have a hard time being precise enough for SV.

I’ve done “sous vide” eggs on a gas burner before. Just took some fiddling and a little bit of ice.
