ASPARAGUS

The white asparagus season is coming soon to Germany. BTW, in contrast to green asparagus, the white one needs more cooking time. I cook it 20min. Yes, some people cook the asparagus shorter for around 10-15min. It´s up to you. You could also use a steamer. And keep it simple! No sauce hollandaise or ham.

I ate so MUCH of that. You can find it here but it doesn’t seem the same.

In Germany it’s truly part of the culture, something expected in the Spring.
