Sauteed some in butter last night. They were delicious next to pork tenderlon and cous-cous.

Picked up some chanterelles today at Livermore costco as well as some Mozzarella di Bufala. Stay tuned for a pizza tomorrow…

have not seen them in the Chicago area as of yet

Used a pound of them last night in risotto. Fantastico to say the least.

Update: Struck out this Sat. At MdR Costco. I was solo looking forward to making a chicken dish Sat. night and a Comte, onion, and shroom omelette on Sun. morn.

A homemade pizza with chanterelles, some truffle pecorino, and a drizzle of truffle oil does not suck.

How much are they going for? I just scored about 5 lbs fresh from a local forage and am curious. Thanks!

Just got em for $13/lb loose at whole foods. Gonna roast em with some shallots and bacon and toss a few sous vide eggs on the puppy.
