“Semmelknödel” is a traditional bavarian partner for braised meat dishes. Utterly delicious and perfectly to absorb the sauce. In addition you can make it in advance if you like. Also perfectly if you have old bread at home and don´t want to throw it away.

Just made this , very easy, but I also added some scallion and used salt and pepper. I sauteed it like the last photo and had it with eggs over easy, delicious.

P.S. I never mention salt&pepper. There exist no dish without salt&pepper.
