Lunch spot in Philadelphia

Looking for a lunch spot in Philly. Was hoping to go to Serpico but it is not open for lunch.

Open to a variety of cuisines except extremely heavy menu.

Preferably close to downtown.

Thanks!

I haven’t tried these but they’re getting good buzz right now.

This is an old fave. Note that it’s BYO - http://www.matyson.com/

Downtown? You mean Center City. Kevin’s recommendations are good but only akitchen and matyson are near Rittenhouse Square in CC. Amis could be a good spot if you’re near Broad street. Be forewarned that other than akitchen, the wine lists won’t be too exciting.

Our house?

I don’t know that place, Sarah.

Robert, what are your “criteria”? What are you looking for?

It’s by invitation only, but the cooking is awesome and the wine list outstanding. BYO also highly encouraged.

Good approach!

Fork is nice if you are near old city. If near rittenhouse square try lacroix or rouge
