Taking a minivacation next weekend in big city (Los Angeles) from cowboy /grape picking country (Santa Ynez) .
Want an upscale place for people watching before/ after dinner. Will be staying in the Beverly Hilton. We can walk to the Peninsula Bar or the Hilton’s Pub Tiki… Don’t want a standing room only/ meat packing scene.
Any info on these two places? Is the Peninsula bar still hooker city? (that’s always fun to watch)

Mastro’s on Canon is a good spot, either at their 2nd floor bar or they opened a new top floor called The Penthouse.
I would say that you could also try Hakkasan on Beverly, but they’re closed for renovations until the 15th (not sure if you’re in BH this upcoming weekend or the following).
There must be somewhere to land a chopper around there.
Seeing hookers, is there anything else they are good for? I’m new in town.
The bar/lounge off of Cut steak house has plenty of hookers.
Also bar area at the Sls hotel
I imagine that Charlie Sheen must still have a few hanging around his house.
