There is no place in Reno with the exception of whole foods that sells higher end fish.
I have checked a few sources I found randomly on the internet and found shipping to be crazy expensive. At one I was quoted 65.00 to ship one fish.
I know UPS is high, just wondered if anyone had run into anything that was more reasonable.
Costco in Reno should have a decent selection

Know a few people who have purchased from here. Zero problems and always quality product(s).
Thanks very much for that link, it was exactly what I was looking for.
Bought some spot prawns earlier this yr… and they arrived alive to me in the mid-west. Nice product too
I have tried Bryan and one other shipper (http://www.farm-2-market.com/ with mixed results for Spots

Paul- Be careful on the UNI there. I did not have a good result with their “premium uni” the product arrived in poor condition and they replaced it and it arrived in poor condition a second time. I would only purchase the 'gold uni" or the live uni from them. They were very good about refunding me for the unacceptable products.
Suzanne, have you tried the abalone?
Not for me (trayfe), but Linda’s dad loves it.
Mark,
Costco is a good source for fresh fish.
Haven’t tried these guys yet but there are worth investigating.

No I have only ordered the Uni 3X
OT, but I just realized that if you want to be a “monger” you’re pretty much limited to either fish or whores.
I bet high school guidance counsellors usually recommend the fish route.

I used to order extensively from them, but I stopped because of uneven results. Hopefully they have returned to form. Please keep us updated.
