Places in West LA for ice cream?

I need suggestions for places to go on the westside of Los Angeles for ice cream. My niece and a large group of teens will be visiting LA next month. On their way back from the beach (to Robertson/Pico), they may want to stop and get some ice cream. Suggestions?

Nice Italian style Gelato place on Montana about 12th or so on the north side of the street, names escapes me at the moment.

Di Dio’s great Italian ice my kids were almost raised there :slight_smile: sadly Fred the owner recently passed but the kids continue the tradition.
