Distribution in PDX

This is my FB post. I am serious. If there are awesome salespeople on the East coast who represent my wines extremely well, why not in my backyard too.

I am looking for a distributor in PDX. My experience so far could be better. Here’s what I’m looking for:
-You like Italian wine, but it’s not your life.
-You don’t know what Natural Winemaking is either
-You know the difference and can explain “Native, inoculated and wild” and understand the bullshit therein
-You can explain sediment in whites
-You get that screwcaps can age beautifully (but that cork is sexier)
-You like puppies and long walks on the beach
-You know the difference between selling and taking an order
-You order well and pay on time
-You enjoy work withs
-You loath filtration too
-You also wonder where all the sediment in modern winemaking has gone
-You can stand up for yourself

-Me, I’m charming and a joy to be around

Interested? My # is 503-737-9703

Are you looking for a distributor? or a part time salesperson who understands and is excited about your wines?

Perhaps both.

Todd - have you talked with Galaxy? I love their book, and I’ve only had good experiences with their reps (which I can’t report elsewhere…).

And they have an excellent Italian portfolio… champagne.gif

I haven’t. There are a few accounts in pdx that I sell to that take multiple case drops at a time. Really, it’s a onesie twosie town and most of my dtc customers are more eager buyers.

The Italian comment made me think Lemma. Byron uses them, you might chat with him about his experiences.

But imho your wines fall more in line with PDX Wines.

You might also talk to Seth Long, as he’s making rounds with Jimmy Maresh’s wines.
