Good book for viticulture?

Does anyone know a good viticulture book that goes over clones and rootstocks, and is not completely boring? I have General Viticulture and it is not a fun read.

I eee you have already seen this thread.

That pretty much covers the main ones. There are some books that are directed toward the home grower/hobbiest, but they rarely go into much detail.

I don’t know of any books on clonal selection. If you find one let me know. However, “Grapevine Rootstocks Selection and Management for Suth Austrailian Vineyards” by Nick Dry is a pretty good rootstock book. I am not sure why but it seems as though most of the newer viticulture books are are from austrailia. Go figure

I can’t say for sure why that is, but I know the Australian government funds enology/vit research at a much higher level than in this country. That might be part of the reason.
