Lightweight glass - anyone using it?

I’m looking into using sub-500g Burgundy bottles - W6/WRU from Encore and the like. Have any of you used them, and did they work well? Did you like the feel? Any breakage issues?

Cost is a little better, but also lighter case weight and a little more eco-friendly is nice. The last glass I used was about 540g/bottle and I like the feel, but a little lighter wouldn’t be too bad, either.

I have heard of easier and more breakage issues with the eco glass. I use light weight but not eco.

What would be considered “standard weight” for a Burgundy bottle? And what about a massive bottle like, let’s say, Lucien Le Moine?

If memory serves the ones I am using are a little over 500g. The heaviest weight bottles I have used were I think Cabo/Monterey mold at nearly double that almost 2lb (close to 900g). My full filled case boxes are about 37 lbs per case the heaver one I once worked with was 44-45lbs per filled case and had overage champagne type shipping weights.
