Barthod Beaux Bruns 2004 (T/N)

First bottle of case just bought.
Lovely perfumed nose,. Taste is elegant yet structured, floral, pepper and black current , well-balanced tannins. drinking very well right now. Could not detect any greenness which some find in this vintage. Outstanding .

Keith, I had a bottle of this wine last week and it was lovely. My experience with Barthod in 2004 has been exemplary.

A bottle of Robert Arnoux Vosne RomaneƩ Chaumes 04 was superb 3 nights ago. Very young, but not a bit of green.

Prepare to be accused of being in denial.

My experience of 2004s recently has not been so positive: 2004 Leroy Gevrey Chambertin was a dead ringer for a Chinon and an 2004 Chevillon NSG 1er Chaignots (tasted with Bertrand Chevillon) had its charms, but had quite a bit of pyrazine in the wine and was a shadow compared to the 2005 1er Roncieres.
