TN: 2007 Roger Sabon Prestige 89 - 90 pts

Healthy deep red, Figgy pipe tobacco nose with more than a little alcohol and Windex on the nose.
Thankfully the Windex disappears on the palate, with only the figgy pipe tobacco following through. Nicely concentrated. More figs and dried cherries (definitely dried rather than fresh fruits), but lots of alcohol in a ripe/oxidative style.
Not sure, but don’t see the wine getting any better. Seems very consistent with other bottles of Sabon wines had in the past…
Perhaps the style is just not for me. Drink up

I know the answer to this question is probably so obvious, but does TN stand for Taste Now? I’m assuming it doesn’t stand for Tennessee wine. newhere

Tasting note.
