Weird wine behavior

Opened a bottle of 2013 Chinon that ended up behaving very strangely–any insights would be appreciated.

The cork was streaked over its full length, so clearly, something went wrong somewhere along the line.

The wine itself is…odd. Almost no nose. On the palate, it is wholly, utterly, and completely devoid any fruit, whatsoever. Completely fruitless. Everything else, however, is in perfect working order: earthy notes, some bitter chocolate, a little bit of chinon herbiness; the acidity is there, the tannins are as they should be. (This is second bottle of this wine i’ve opened, so i have a sense of what it’s supposed to taste like.). No sign of oxidation.

Day 2–the same. Day 3–the same.

Day 4–the fruit suddenly reappears. Not quite back to where it should be, but close, and pleasant to drink. Still no oxidation.

What’s up? This is not nebbiolo.
