There’s a lot of push back in Brasil about the loss of community in bars and at the beach when everyone is texting, tweeting and other stuff on their phones. I can’t find it now but we recently had a thread about a Brasilian beer company making ice chests that came with a device that blocked wifi for a good distance.

And yet both of these products are from Brasil. Got any American or British examples? Brits take pub culture pretty seriously, there must be something.
