Looking for a good sipping Tequila...

What’s your recommendation?

All Silver’s:

Sieta Leguas
1921
Fina Estampa

Smooth and easy yet high quality, and all under $40 retail.

Sheesh, you send your girls off to school, and now you’re hitting the hard stuff already?

Haha… I’ll be sipping it with THEM! [drinkers.gif]

Oh man, that rocks! I’m 15 years way from that…

It’s worth the wait!

Thanks T-Bone! I’ll pick up a couple of those.

El Jimador here in WA, priced like Cuervo Gold, but 100% agave, much smoother. Cuervo is much lower in agave.

Tequila Ocho. You can thank me later.

I’ll second that. Also Partida (especially the Reposado) and Fortaleza.

Absolutely! And what a great story Guillermo Sauza has! Thanks for reminding me…have to pick up a bottle for the holidays!

Don Julio 1942

Thanks everyone - only able to find Don Julio and El Jimador. Went to four different liquor stores - must be a Washington thing.
I’ll keep trying though.

Herencia Mexicana Plata…better than Nonino Grappa!

remeber, you can search for everything in the system in WA… http://www.liq.wa.gov/LCBhomenet/StoreInformation/BrandSearch.aspx

I never knew that. Thanks!

That web site is not entirely accurate or up-to-date, though.

Jeff - true, but if one’s looking for a given brand it’s pretty OK. I’d not trust things like store inventory (whether or not it’s at a given store) but its useful for telling you if the state even carries a product.

Rick, agreed.

It’s officially later, so thank you! Just awesome stuff.
