Sam Thompson's Pure Rye - no label

I’ ve attached here a photo of a bottle I recently came across (could figure out how to get it here in the body).

Clear embossed bottle, cork and seal appear original, fill level to mid-shoulder would also indicate a 100 year old body, label though has fallen off (also as you might expect with an older bottle).

I did some research and found out that this Penna. distiller closed in 1920.

What I would like to know is, how much is this worth? Is it safe to drink? Anything else to know about this bottle/producer?
