San Diego Breweries

With all the breweries in SD, what are your favorites or must visits? I’ll be there over the weekend.

*Not interested in Stone. There’s already one in Pasadena-- not too far from me.

Thanks! I won’t be driving, so I’ll most likely stick to Societe and Alesmith. But if she gets generous or I bribe her nicely, I’ll get to visit Alpine. [basic-smile.gif]

uber.

well except to alpine. There are no ubers coming back from Alpine. Sigh.

Port Brewing Company/Pizza Port/Lost Abbey Brewing Company

Even if you don’t visit the tasting room- they are usually in good circulation around San Diego in various pubs - I think they are making as good a beer as anyone in the South -

The publican, pupil, apprentice look to be on tap. Those are awesome crushable IPA/APAs. The pupil is one of my favorite IPAs made in CA
