Penderyn Welsh Malt Whiskey

Anyone beside me have some experience with this?

The brand is now about 10 years old. They produce 1 cask a day in Wales’ only distillery–its first in 100 years when it opened in 2004. Something for a St. David’s Day toast, March 1. St. David is Wale’s Patron Saint. The whiskey, 92 proof,is a light golden spirit with, not surprisingly, with a big alcoholic bite from the 46% ABV. The nose suggests creamy toffee. On the palate I picked up notes of pears, mangoes and vanilla along with a suggestion of sweetness. The finish, albeit, is on the short side. I’d rate it 3/5.

i just got one as a gift from a friend; We tried it that night and I wasn’t sure what I thought: After this bottle is finished I will not go out an get a bottle; It just wasn’t my taste and I really enjoy a good single malt scotch
