I was in a bottle shop close to work yesterday, and I spotted Unapologetic IPA (Stone collaboration). This was very god this summer, and one of my favorites of the year. It was not in the cooler last week. So that prompted me to ask the “guy on the floor” if this was a second release. He told me they just got it in, but he didn’t inspire enough confidence in me to buy it.
Another store near my home has had it sitting on the shelf since summer, and there is still some there. My guess is the distributor came across overstock, and dumped it on the retailer near work. I checked Stone’s web site, and couldn’t find anything about a re-release.
Any of you in SoCal happen to know if I’m looking at old stock or new stock?
