When brands lose their mojo...

Guinness, in an attempt to shore up sales of their world famous STOUT, launches a lager made in Pennsylvania on the Guinness label:

I’d imagine craft beers have taken sales from all the major brands across the board.

Yes, but it’s only a drop in the bucket. These decreases must be far more significant than those seen by the domestic big brands.

My point here is not really the loss of sales but “What the hell is GUINNESS doing marketing a LAGER made in Pennsylvania?”…

What’s old in new again? 60 years ago Guinness brewed Guinness Brite Lager (and Brite Ale) under contract at Goeble Brewing Company in Oakland.

I know. They should be brewing an IPA with 100 IBUs in some obscure Midwest town.

I think they should pair up with Ben & Jerry’s and make ICE CREAM with real Guinness Extra.

For a while there was Bullseye BBQ sauce made with Guinness Stout.
